Integrated crushing units with an installed capacity of 1500 metric tons per hour at various locations, provide quality aggregate supporting timely execution and completion of road and building projects.
Dedicated hot mix plants equipped with necessary machinery and manpower for laying the road surfaces. This ensures quality product and excellent workmanship for better longevity of the roads.
Our batch mixing plants along with quality labs not only helps us to adhere to our construction schedule, also ensures quality of concrete adding to the strength of the structure. Installation of Batch mix plants reduces our dependency on market and increases efficiency in terms of time and cost.

With a strong fleet of more than 300 vehicles of various categories, the seamless support in supply of construction material to our project sites helps us in better control of cost and timely execution.
We also undertake transportation and handling of raw materials for IMFA and other industrial houses.

Paramita Mahapatra, Managing Director, has been instrumental in building UMSL’s formidable team, business and strategy with her professional experience of more than 27 years. A Gold medalist in Post Graduate programme in Personnel Management and Industrial Relation from Utkal University, she has managed to provide entrepreneurial leadership to the team, bringing in consistent growth to the company. Also serving as Director on the Board of Indian Metals and Ferro Alloys Ltd. (IMFA), she is actively involved in community causes thru the activities of Indian Metals Public Charitable Trust and Ila Panda Centre for Arts.
30 years of experience in various disciplines including General Management, Project Finance and Marketing, He has spent majority of the professional career in the Oil & Gas Pipe Industry at top management levels. He was recognised by the leading business magazine “Business World” as the “No. 1 Most Valuable CEO” for the year 2008 in the Materials sector and “No.5 Most Valuable CEO” in the All Industry Basis. He was again recognised in 2009 as “No.6 as Most Valuable CEO” in all India basis.He has instrumental in propellingWelspun from one unit to multiple global units thereby making it $2 billion company and global leader in the large diameter pipeline industry. He has successfully managed 3 JVs with industry leaders in respective fields from Germany, Saudi Arabia and Malaysia.
Akshaya Kumar Dash, Executive Director, a Cost Accountant by profession, served IMFA for more than 11 years in the Finance, Taxation and MIS department prior to joining UMSL in 2000. Bringing in rich professional experience in Finance, Accounts and Operations management, he led the company as COO, successfully handling the team with his unique style of delegation with control. He was elevated to UMSL Board in 2016.
Dhirendra Kumar Roy, Director, has a distinguished career working with Govt. of India in various capacities. A law graduate and an IRS officer of repute, he is an expert in Financial planning, legal & regulatory affairs. He also served as Chief Commissioner of Income Tax and as Chairman of Odisha Electricity Regulatory Commission. Mr. Roy is also on Boards of Grid Corporation of Orissa Limited, Orissa Power Transmission Corporation Ltd., Orissa Thermal Power Corporation and
Justice (Retd.) Choudhury Pratap Keshari Misra, Director, a law graduate from Utkal University, has an extensive experience as legal practitioner for more than 3 decades. He has also served as Hon. Justice in High Court of Odisha during period 1999 to 2004. With vast experience in the field of Law and jurisprudence, he is actively involved in various social causes providing legal advice for benefit of the society.
Trijib Chandra Hota, Director, has an illustrious career of 35 years with Indian Metals and Ferro Alloys Limited (IMFA). A mechanical Engineer by profession, he has served in various capacities in plant operations and corporate affairs. He is presently the Executive Vice President of Bansidhar Ila Panda Foundation (BIPF) which handle the CSR activities of IMFA group.
Chitta Ranjan Ray, Director, an engineer by profession, has been associated with Indian Metals and Ferro Alloys (IMFA) Group for more than 40 years. With his extensive experience in engineering and project management, he reached the pinnacle of his domain. Mr. Ray also serves as whole time director on the Board of IMFA.
Nakul Kumar Mohapatra,is a Degree Mechanical Engineer with more than 25 years of experience in plant & machineries and Project Management. Prior to joining UMSL in 2013, he worked with companies like M/s Lanco Infratech Limited, IVRCL and AFCONS etc., bringing in rich experience in P & M management and Project Management. He is presently handling one of the divisions as profit center head.
Jayadeep Nayak, a Degree Civil Engineer from the University College of Engineering, Burla, a premier and the oldest Engineering College in Odisha is having more than 25 years of experience in projects management at national and international level. Prior to joining UMSL in 2012, he worked as Design Consultant in Kenya and Uganda for Sheladia Associate Inc. He has the distinction of completion of NFTI, New Delhi and Industrial complex of Maruti Udyog Limited. He is also an active member of the Indian Road Congress.
Satyajit Parija, a Degree Civil Engineer from the University College of Engineering, Burla, a premier and the oldest Engineering College in Odisha is having more than 25 years of experience in projects management. Prior to joining UMSL in 2011, Mr. Parija worked as Contract Specialist, Senior Quantity Surveyor in NHAI Projects and Resident Engineer in World Bank Projects. He is also an active member of the Indian Road Congress.
Santosh Kumar Dhar, a Graduate in Commerce, joined UMSL in September 1998 after serving Indian Metals and Ferro Alloys for 12 years. With his experience in accounting and analytical skills, he has been successfully able to manage the logistics and plant management services of the company. He has a proven track record of material handling services for the Plants & systematic management of vehicles and equipment.
Atanu Kumar Mishra, is a Metallurgical Engineer from NIT, Rourkela. Prior to joining UMSL in 2011, he had a long stint with Indian Metals and Ferro Alloys, Bhubaneswar in Stores and Procurement function. With his techno-commercial experience of more than two decades, Mr. Mishra has been able to bring in most competitive rates & favorable commercial terms for procurement.
Shibasish Pattnayak, is a BE (Civil) from the MVJ College of Engineering, Bangalore. Prior to joining UMSL in 2014, Mr. Pattanayak was involved in project identification, evaluation, financial modeling, negotiation and execution of Agreements with Clients while working for Sri Durga Construction Company. He has over 25 years of experience in project management for NHAI, Irrigation and Railway Projects.
Sukant Kumar Biswal , a Chartered Accountant, is having more than 18 years of experience, in the field of Finance, Accounts, Taxation and MIS. Before joining UMSL in 2014, he had worked with companies like Jindal Power, Lanco Infratech and Orissa Television. With his rich and extensive experience in business analysis, taxation and compliances, he has been able to establish a strong financial base for the company.
Before joining UMSL, Vikas Gupta has served in organisations like Welspon, Ferro Tech etc. having more than two decades of experience in handling domestic and international operations. As part of his responsibility to develop international market, he was successful in developing wide network of channel partners across the globe to enhance market penetration of seamless, Welded Pipes & Tubes, steel Plates & Coil for Oil & Gas and water industry. Presently he is responsible for handling entire operations of infrastructure business division of the company.
Gaurang Desai has an MBA in Finance ,B.Engg in Mechanical from NIT Surat and global leadership program from INSEAD france. His 25 years have been working in automotive, O&G and packaging industries. He has held positions of COO North East Asia with Gala Precision, BU head in Welspun Corp, COO for parksonspackaging and was CEO for Jindal Polyfilmsbefore joining UMSL. He has managed P&L of around 700 mn USD in previous organisations.
A dynamic professional with 22+ years of rich experience in Revenue Expansion, Corporate and Project Finance, Project Development and implementation of Management Control Systems with diverse sectors like Power, Oil and Gas, Infrastructure, Renewable Energy, Banking, Education, Aviation etc. He is BE (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Raipur and have received his management education from IIM Indore with specialization in Finance, Strategy and Management Control Systems. He is also a certified Energy Auditor and Manager from BEE, New Delhi and JyotishAlankar from BVB New Delhi.
